Today is the planned day for the Vikram lander of  Chandrayaan-3 to split from the spacecraft's propulsion module.The Pragyaan lander and rover are scheduled to touchdown on the Moon on August 23. When the Vikram lander touches down on the Moon, it will take pictures of the Pragyaan rover , which will deploy its tools to examine seismic activity there.
